He started studying classical dance in Turin, guided by Loredana Furno, completing his training at the School of the Theatre “”la Scala” in Milan, under the Artistic Direction of Dubrievic, and attended the seventh and eighth course as an external student. He attended the first Professional Course organized by “Aterballetto” and got specializations in France, Switzerland, Montecarlo and England.
He started his professional activity at “Collettivo di Danza” of Teatro Nuovo in Turin where he played solo roles. His activity continued with Carla Fracci’s company, Liliana Cosi’s and Marinel Stefanescu’s companies, “Aterballetto”and the Company “Danza Prospettiva”. He worked with traditional Theatres and lyrical bodies like la Scala, Regio di Torino, la Fenice di Venezia, Comunale di Firenze, Massimo di Palermo, Arena di Verona. He participated in important TV programs among which “I Sette Peccati Capitali” (the seven deadly sins). He moved to Rome and started again collaboration with Vittorio Biagi, as assistant-choreographer. His career as a choreographer started in 1985 when he created choreographies for the Skanderbeg Company and Axa Balletto . He held workshops in various specialized centres in Italy, bringing his choreographies to France, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey.
In 1989 he founded “Axa Balletto” company and then became director of “Elevation Dance”.
Among the choreographies he created, mention should be made of “Inpulso”, “Le Corone”, “Coscienza”, “Ciaccona”, on Bach’s music, and “Requiem” by Mozart.
In 1994, concluding his experience with “Elevation Dance”, he set up and guided Euroballetto, where, under his artistic direction a lot of famous choreographers were invited, like Luc Bouy, Franco Miseria, Vittorio Biagi, Luciano Cannito, Laura Martorana, Loris Petrillo, Massimiliano Volpini, presently working with “la Scala” as well as Massimiliano Siccardi, for multivision. Additionally, famous artists like Oriella Dorella, Grazia Galante, Elsa Piperno, Mario Marozzi, Raffaele Paganini, Marco Pierin and many others danced to the music composed specifically for our company by musicians like Severino Gazzelloni, Giuseppe Calì, Umberto Realino and Marco Schiavoni.
Euroballetto has taken part in various, even worldwide broadcasted, TV programs, and performed in outstanding theatres, circuits and festivals. In this regard, it might be mentioned our tour to Russia, Turkey, France, Switzerland and Spain.
A lot of original choreographies by Marco Realino, still performed, have been added to our repertoire over the last years: “l’Angelo Terreno”, “Requiem”, “Chorus Tango”, Meflanco, “Il Mito dei Beat”, “In volo con Zero”, and the last famous piece “Via Col Vento” (Gone with the Wind).
