CED - Centro Eurodanza (Eurodance Centre)

Versione italiana

After renovating old industrial warehouses, in 1996 we set up the headquarters of our professional company, Euroballetto, i.e. CED - , that is a point of reference for Rome professional dance. CED, a cultural association, immediately started its activity by promoting and spreading amateur dance and theatre. It is supplied with wide halls for the study of dance, theatre and music, a store for staging materials and another one for costumes and dressmaking. CED increased its interest in theatre in 1998 with the inauguration of the experimental theatre space “ L’Isola che non c’è” (Neverland), made up as follows: a 10x 10mt stage, 99 wooden stand seats and dressing rooms for artists. This particular location is derived from the renovation of old industrial warehouses and this is why Fernando Balestra, a journalist and theatre critic, compared it to American lofts.
